Earthy, organic pieces that exude a delicate feel, each and every item is unique and a true one-off. The ceramic studio was founded by Di Marshall in 2008, everything is made from organic, recycled South African clay, each item goes through around 14 pairs of hands before it’s considered to be completed. Giving back to the community from which her pieces are made is important to Di, and Wonki Ware has started a ceramic school to teach local South Africans about the art of pottery. “Developing our variety of shapes and patterns has given us the opportunity to be ahead of most trends, helping us create a classic product that’s timeless and vibrant”.
