Newgate produce affordable watches that are exciting to wear and design-led clocks that are the heartbeat of a home. Founded by husband and wife team Jim and Chloe Read, “It all started when we were just teenagers and were set up on a blind date,” says Chloe, “Jim had dropped out of art school, I dropped out of college where I was studying business and we instantly hit it off... We made those first clocks ourselves in the spare bedroom of our flat which overlooked an old town gate… Newgate”.
