Manufactured by the Danish company, En Gry & Sif, these ethical and cosy creations are handmade by artisans in Nepal, using high-quality wool from New Zealand. The Egos range is dyed using eco-friendly colours and feature a durable suede sole. Egos slippers are comfortable and luxurious. They insulate naturally and remain breathable, whilst the wool’s lanolin content makes them resistant to dirt, moisture and odours. The brand draws on Nepal’s long tradition of felting to create the Egos slippers, and is commited to providing a fair wage to the Nepalese artisans they work with. Egos Copenhagen is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and provides financial support to local orphanages.
