In our previous lives, working in galleries in Brighton, museums in London, exhibition events, Open Houses, and making websites for arts organisations, we connected with hugely talented, independent makers, artists and producers. In 2019 we wrote a list of people who we wanted to work with if we ever had our own space. These were creatives and brands who make exceptional work, who consider everything they do carefully, and are passionate at what they do. And are amazing, lovely people. This list was the starting point when the opportunity to open First & Last, a shop with beautiful art, homeware, accessories, stationery, skincare, books and jewellery, arrived in 2022.
