When Stephen K Molloy and Gunnar Rönsch met during their architectural studies, it became clear that they shared a passion for intelligent design. They opened Fundamental in 2011, and haven't looked back. Each product is designed in line with mathematical principles from the natural world creating clever and beautiful homewares.

A trained architect who practiced in Berlin, London and LA before opening Fundamental, Gunnar loves to experiment with new ways to use traditional materials, and play with patterns and colours.
