Florence achieved an MA from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2018 and built her career as an installation artist before launching Florence Mytum Ceramics in 2020. She uses her background as a sculptor to create bold, colourful and tactile ceramics. Florence creates sculptural vases, playful mugs and colourful candle holders, all individually handcrafted in her East London studio. Florence’s work celebrates colour, texture and form through a focus on materiality, and her pieces bridge the gap between decorative, sculptural and functional ceramics.
