Luxury Bubble is a two storey Georgian building in Fordingbridge, Hampshire. It’s my vision of what a department store should be – a small, curated collection of clothing, accessories and shoes on the ground floor with beauty retail, a treatment room and a small café on the second floor. Inspired by one of my favourite stores in New York, it gives all its visitors the opportunity to combine a good old shop with some experiences that give pause for thought. I am unapologetically girly. I love shopping. I love trying on make-up and I love having a natter with a friend over coffee. I created Luxury Bubble for anyone who wants to do the same.
From the owner
I’m often asked, why Luxury Bubble? Actually, Luxury Bubble has been part of my vocabulary since my first child, Ollie, was born in 2006. It was my secret code for ‘time for me’. If I managed to snag a few hours in the bath with a good book, it was declared ‘my luxury bubble’ and my husband understood exactly what it meant. The degree of luxury didn’t really matter and the length of the bubble changed, but the opportunity to take time out for me was really important in the otherwise frantic world of being a mum and working fulltime. Luxury Bubble – the shop – I hope gives its visitors the same opportunity for me-time we all need. Enjoy!
