C&K Store is an independent department store based in Settle, North Yorkshire at the gateway to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. C&K Store (known locally as Car & Kitchen) is a true destination shop that offers a unique range of independent brands across everything from homeware, fashion, gifts, kitchen, kids and cards + stationery alongside an in-house coffee shop. Opened in 1976 by current owner Henry Meredith’s grandparents, Car and Kitchen got its unusual name from the business opening originally as a garage. The shop has gone through a lot of changes since then but the name has stuck. The shop has been part of the fabric of it's local community for over 40 years and Henry and Natasha are ensuring that it stays that way for a long time to come.
