This white wine glass is part of the Surface collection designed by Sergio Herman for Serax. The glasses have a ridged design but the ridge is on the inside of the glass and they are thus perfectly smooth from the outside.
Herman is a chef who gained 3 Michelin stars for his cooking at his family restaurant Oud Sluis near the north coast of the Netherlands. He closed that restaurant in 2013 and has since opened another restaurant in Antwerp where he has 2 stars. He has designed a range of cookware, tableware and glassware called Surface for Serax.
These wine glasses are available individually or in a box of 4. A box would make a great new home gift.
We also have the red wine and water glasses from the same collection. Please note these glasses are mould made rather than blown and there is a very fine line where the two parts of the mould join.
