Penny and the Little Lost Puppy - Emily Sutton
You may be familiar with one of the illustrations in this book from Emily's gift wrap that she designed for Art Angels and that they produced last year. That paper is called Dogs in the Park and this book is the story of Penny and her friendship with a dog that she meets in the back of her garden.
Penny's parents have moved home and the new house doesn't feel like home to Penny; she misses her old friends. While trying to find out more about the little dog who has visited her in her garden she gradually finds out more about her new neighbours. They suggest that she looks in the park to try and find her new dog friend but has no luck there. However, she soon learns where the dog lives, what its name is and who its owners are.
