The UB221 features a tapered fit: a roomy seat and thigh that tapers to a narrow leg opening, cut and sewn from 21oz indigo raw denim. It features signature blue selvedge ID, an unbranded leather patch, Union Special chain-stitched hems, hidden rivets in the back pocket and a copper-plated pewter button fly. Sanforized 21oz fabric is about twice as heavy as most denim, making it tough and stiff when new, but softens and fades beautifully when worn.
