This vetiver root basket is entirely hand-woven in Madagascar by Tahiana Création.
Marie Alexandrine created her basket weaving workshop on the outskirts of Antananarivo and works with around thirty women who master the art of weaving to perfection. Today she has her own plantations. She cultivates nearly 60Ha of vetiver and can be delighted to have developed a completely autonomous erative.
This basket is a real olfactory pleasure because the dried vetiver root retains its smell, and also its properties since it is a natural insecticide.
You can occasionally lightly moisten the pan to revive or intensify the scent of vetiver.
We do not recommend food use. Indeed, the smell of vetiver could spoil your food.
