The 98% recycled-plastic handle, made from used packaging, lends the y peeler a unique sparkle. The y peeler has a steel frame with two sharp hooks on each side in different sizes, designed to remove sprouts and eyes from the vegetables. The shape of the handle is based on an ancient japanese design known as ‘shinogi’, ensuring a good grip and improved control. The shinogi handle has a vertical edge down the shaft, ensuring a good grip and control for both left- and right-handed users.
