Erik Magnussen’s iconic vacuum jug EM77 has adorned coffee tables worldwide for more than 40 years. The newest member of the EM77 family, the EM77 electric kettle in the colour cloud, is now introduced. The EM77 electric kettle has a high performance that causes it to boil the water quickly with a minimum of energy consumption. The cableless kettle can hold 1.5 l and is equipped with a removable limescale filter and dry boil safety switch. The base includes space for the cable.

Erik Magnussen was born in 1940 in Copenhagen. Educated as a ceramist at the School of Applied Arts and Design - graduated with a silver medal in 1960. In 1997 Erik Magnussen was awarded "The Red Dot" in the "Design Innovations 1997" competition held by Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen and he won the "Good Design Gold Prize" awarded by Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization.
