A faithful collaborator of Serax, Belgian artist Marie Michielssen presents her very first line of ceramic tableware. This collection named �La M�re� is an ode to the maternal figure and women in general. The plain glaze, in off-white, coordinates wonderfully with the stylised motifs representing female figures. With their foot, some pieces grow taller. Marie Michielssen explains: �These tall shapes raise up the dishes you serve to a literally higher level. Really playful, these pieces can be combined, but you can also use them to add a festive element to your tablescape.
