This unique, handmade decoration is made by women from the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu and surrounding areas. They produce the felt material by hand using traditional methods. Through a combination of warmth, moisture and pressure, wool changes to felt.

Return

The women generate their own income by making this felt product, which makes them independent. In collaboration with Plan International Nederland, part of the profit is spent on vocational training, mostly for young women. A beautiful product for you, a better life for them.
