This paper decoration folds out like a fan and can then be either hung up or placed in a suitable receptacle.
The 'handles' of the fan have a tiny punched hole each and you can use these two holes to thread something through from which to secure the decoration open. The decoration comes complete with a wire with a hook on each end and a spring between the two hooks which you can use to do this job or you could tie it with thread.
