Product details

The essential chef's knife set from the Opinel brand. This knife set contains all the small knives needed for everyday cooking. It is made up of 4 knives with a stainless steel blade and a charming wooden handle. The different knives are: the paring knife: it is a versatile 10 cm blade that you always have on hand. the notched knife: a 10 cm micro-toothed blade, ideal for very thin-skinned vegetables such as tomatoes. the vegetable knife: a 7 cm bird's beak blade which is suitable for cutting and cleaning all vegetables including carrots, Brussels sprouts, etc. the peeler: a small 6 cm blade, this peeler will allow you to easily remove the skin from all your vegetables. This set will accompany you every day in your kitchen. It exists in 4 style variations: The Primo essentials box: composed from the three fundamental colors, red, blue and green. The fourth knife is gray. The Art Deco essentials box: contains knives in colors inspired by the Art Deco style. We find purple, light gray, emerald green and white. The Primavera essentials box: the knives are in a variation of green and a white peeler. The Natural essentials box: The knives have a natural beech handle from French farms. Light in color, this wood is hard and resistant. These boxes are assembled in France. The paring knife, the serrated knife and the peeler are made in France. The vegetable knife is made in Portugal. The handle: Made from hornbeam wood from French farms. This white wood with a faint grain is ideal for coloring it without losing the texture of the wood. Then, a varnish is applied to protect the handle from humidity and dirt. The blade: The stainless steel used is of European origin. It is a martensitic stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC which offers great resistance to corrosion and very good mechanical performance. This blade has an excellent sharpness and high resistance to abrasion. It can therefore easily be brought into contact with hard materials. Re-sharpening and the blade will regain all its sharpness. Very robust, it will still show its limits if it is placed in prolonged contact with materials or in an abrasive environment. (salt water, acid, etc.). Stainless steel does not require any special maintenance.
