Moonlight Travellers - Will Self & Quentin Blake
This book is made up of a series of drawings that Blake originally made for an exhibition at the Jerwood Gallery Hastings and from which he later produced versions of them in landscape rather than portrait format. They all feature the moon - and it is only the moon element of the drawings that changes colour, the rest of the drawings are monochrome.
Will Self's text is in response to the drawings of Blake and the themes of light and dark touches both the written and visual journeys.
