Signal Box. The Grade II listed signal box for Birmingham New Street Station has become something of a brutalist icon since the demolition of Central Library. The corrugated concrete structure creates interesting shadows continuously through the day. And the thin rows give this building a stubby look, when in actual fact it is rather tall.
