Using plastic bottles collected from the Ocean, various processes are used to turn these into the fabric from which their slippers are made. They use local Spanish factories which are all highly committed to reduce the environmental impact of shoe production, by using traditional techniques and handcrafted processes. These initiatives therefore not only clean the oceans but also help to preserve the planet.

All the materials they use are ecological. A heavy duty felt is used for the upper and lining in a fabric that is certified as 100% recycled by the Global Recycling Standard office. Each shoe is made from at least 2 recovered bottles.

The outsoles are made from 100% natural rubber, from sustainable sources

The product is vulcanised without the use of glues or solvents, thus reducing pollution and harmful waste
