From its base deep in the Småland forest of southern Sweden, the Målerås glasswork has a long tradition of re-imagining the natural environment of the surrounding landscape with work of the finest crystal. The latest artist to join the team of talented designers at Målerås is internationally acclaimed Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi, who brings with him a wealth of experience, richly influenced by folklore, storytelling and the natural world.
The Tales From Wilderness Owl Sculpture is crafted from cast crystal with a hand-painted and sandblasted motif.
Organic, environmentally friendly colour is used during the production process. In order to preserve the finish of this piece, strong cleaning agents and strong direct sunlight should be avoided.
Handmade in Sweden, signed by the artist.
