The Oiva dish is made of brown stoneware and has the Alku motif with hand painted edge. The outside of the plate is naturally rough without icing while the interior has a transparent glaze. It is washable in dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer.

The bean shapes in the Alku design (beginning) represent seeds that grow in magnificent and vigorous flowers.
