The iconic Panthella from 1971 is one of the most popular lamps by architect and designer Verner Panton (1926-1998). The new addition to the Panthella family is the medium-sized tabletop Panthella 320, which with its 32 cm diameter is located between the Panthella 250 and the Panthella 400 tabletop. When the larger Panthellas appeared, the design by Verner Panton It included a translucent gray acrylic screen. This original finish was later reintroduced in combination with a flared base in high-gloss chrome, a contrast of materials that gives the Panthella 320 tabletop an elegant and contemporary aesthetic. The iconic design is also offered in an all-white version, with an opal acrylic shade that creates the bright, diffuse light distribution characteristic of translucent shades. In metallic brass or high-gloss chrome versions, the metal shade directs the light. light directly downwards and creates a pleasant illumination thanks to the internal face of the screen, painted white, and the reflection of the flared base.
