Our coat capsule is entirely manufactured by the House of Lener Cordier in their workshops located in the Hauts de France. Our artistic director Rémi de Laquintane has worked closely with the Lener workshops in order to offer you these exceptional pieces, exclusively. Lener Cordier was founded in 1954 in Hazebrouck. The house has developed its coat expertise over three generations, with quality as its watchword. Each piece is handmade and carefully checked before shipping. It is with their creativity, a unique French know-how, and the use of luxurious materials, that we have been able to design these models with an inimitable style, which every man will be able to easily appropriate. For this new season, our choice turned to this essential of the wardrobe: the Mackintosh. Originally, this piece was a raincoat, first sold in 1824, made with a rubber fabric. It is named after its designer, the Scotsman Charles Macintosh. We have always been seduced by this elegant cut but too often associated with rainwear. That's why we opted for a material that is suitable for a more wintry climate, with insulating power and that doesn't wrinkle. We have selected a high quality Italian material, a mixture of virgin wool and a little polyamide (polyamide is a technical fibre that makes the product more resistant over time). The result is a warm and soft wool for an unbeatable comfort. We wanted a timeless piece, which can be worn with a suit as well as a simple turtleneck for an evening out. The length has been worked on to fit all body types.
