This line of coats is entirely made by Lener Cordier in their workshops in Hazebrouck, located in the north of France. Rémi de Laquintane, our artistic director, Régis Pennel, founder of the Exception, and his team have worked closely for several months with the Lener workshops to offer you exceptional pieces, exclusively. Shaping a coat at Lener Cordier means implementing the high standards and skills of all those involved in the production chain, from design to sale. It takes around twenty people and 6 months to create a coat. The company has developed its coat expertise over three generations, with quality as its watchword. It is with their creativity and French know-how, the use of noble materials, that we have been able to design models with an inimitable style that every man can easily appropriate. This overcoat is our classic dress coat for this winter. We wanted a timeless piece that could be worn over a suit as well as for going out in the evening on a simple turtleneck. Its smart yet stylish shape has been expertly cut to ensure it fits most frames. Concerning the fabric composition, we looked to the experts – sourcing this pure wool and polyamide (for a modern stretch) fabric from Italian artisans. The result is a warm and wearable design that is both soft and comfortable.
