Wild about Weeds - Jack Wallington

Jack Wallington's book is not about re-wilding but is does acknowledge that there are plants that we consider weeds that are actually perhaps best suited to the conditions of our gardens. Gardening can often seem a bit of a battle against weeds but with this book you can learn to manage these rebel plants.

If you choose to grow weeds they will still require some editing and Jack lays out some of the techniques for doing this. He also acknowledges that there are some weeds that are perhaps not worthy of a place in your garden: bindweed, creeping thistle, bramble and couch grass.

The book contains devoted spreads to different weeds and what conditions they are best suited to.
