Arthur Parkinson's garden in Nottingham is a town garden which despite its diminutive size is a flower-filled jungle which stands defiantly against urbanisation. He provides ideas for seasonal specific displays and also introduces flower types - tulips, sweet peas, poppies and dahlias - and tells you how to get the best out of these plants when they are planted in pots. Alongside all of this are accounts of his garden and his collection of bantams. He also provides ideas for picking the flowers that you have grown in pots and displaying them beautifully.
