A Little Village - Tim Duncan
Tim has found his place in the studio on the clinical ward in Monster. He comes here every day to sculpt and paint. A major theme in his work are the clowns that are also depicted on these socks in the little village. Clowns always wear a mask so you can never really see what the person behind the mask feels and thinks. Tim told us that we all wear these masks and by portraying them in this way, he comes closer to the emotions that lie behind each mask.
Art socks x REAKT
These limited edition socks are part of a unique collaboration between Kunstsokken and REAKT, an organization within the GGZ that helps people with a psychological or addiction background through creative and therapeutic projects. Together we selected three works of art, including this work by Tim, and translated them into our socks.
