Asta Barrington's original design inspirations have remained consistent throughout her career. Folk art, flea market finds, paper ephemera and world textiles all continue to interest her together with a lifelong passion for colour. Her signature style consists of complex intricate patterns that entwine to form larger motifs, in particular creatures such as fantastical fish and cheeky songbirds.
