If you like the classics, you’ll love this elegant A-shaped raincoat from Ilse Jacobsen. It is based on the popular Rain71, but with an extra padding that makes it even more suitable on a cold and rainy day.

The raincoat has a placket with 2-way YKK zipper and a press buttons opening, side seam pockets with flaps so the water won’t get inside and a detachable hood with an artificial leather strap you can tie when the wind blows.

Even though RAIN200 has its inspiration from one of Ilse Jacobsen's other raincoats, it is however still unique. With the combination of materials, it takes the classic raincoat to the next level. In order to protect the coat from water and dirt, they've used BIONIC FINISH®ECO surface treatment. This coating provides a non-fluorinated and highly durable water repellent textile finish for high performance applications.

The RAIN200 is made in a light Taslan polyester fabric with a waterproof and breathable TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) membrane, that not only helps to keep you dry – even through heavy rain – but also makes it comfortable to wear. The Meida® padding, adds an extra layer to the iconic raincoat, and it will help to keep you warm as well as ensure a high breathability at 10000 M/P, so you don’t feel damp even when moving fast.

MEIDA® is a thin and elegant intermediate lining for insulation which will retain a slender look. The middle lining is both extremely breathable, has a high insulating capacity and a windbreaker effect. This makes it easy to keep warm, but without getting the sweaty sensation that other insulation materials give.

If you need to go faster, just unbutton the side slits for even more freedom of movement!
