The box is produced from old, used brick molds in India. Metal fittings and metal handles have been fitted. There may be cracks, fissures and splinters in the wood. This is completely unavoidable as it is old used brick molds that have been used to make the box off. There will be rust and marks on the metal, it is a conscious choice on our part, to make the box look old and raw. The type of wood can not be stated.
