This unglazed rough terracotta bowl is made in Turkey for HAY. The bowl is described by HAY as being for 'decoration only' - which means that it is unsuitable for most food stuffs although can be used as a vessel for fruit or vegetables.
It could also be used as a low planter for succulents of cacti but you would need to be careful about over watering as the bowl does not have any drainage holes and the terracotta is porous. We also use this bowl in our shop for displaying objects.
