Soft Candleholder - Yellow
This stoneware ceramic candleholder is designed by a design duo called Wang and Söderström for HAY. The design partnership are interested in how digital and physical forms meet; the organic forms are developed in their studio before they are 3D printed and then moulded and cast at a ceramic factory in India.
Wang and Söderström is the design practice of designer Annie Wang and architect Tim Söderström, they are based in Copenhagen. They like to bring out the tactile and emotional side of objects while utilising the digital techniques available to achieve this.
The candleholder takes a standard sized dinner candle and comes in a smart gift box.
As with all candles the advice to not leave a lit flame unattended applies here. As well as this yellow colour the candleholder is also available in lavender.
