This type of glassware is described by HAY as alabaster glass. I'm not sure if this is the technical term but does describe the aqueous pattern that the glass has in that it is similar to the striations and marks found in natural alabaster.
The range comprises of a bowl, a drinking glass and this plate. The plate is big enough to be used for everything from a piece of toast in the morning, to a slice of cake at . . . . any time.
Dishwasher safe. The swirling glass pattern is different on each piece.
