The box backpack or shoulder bag is made from 100% vegetable tanned cowhide with a velvety handle. The Sattler leather straps are also 100% planted. The leather is absolutely natural and the colors are discreetly applied, which means that the natural scaring of the leather is fully preserved. The cut and appearance of the model is clear and simple and corresponds to that of a “soft box”.

The box Shoulderbag can be worn in the following species: as a bag on the long adjustable shoulder strap made of saddler leather or alternatively on your back as a backpack. For this purpose, the belt is extended somewhat and carried out by two hooks on the back below. This turns the shoulder strap into two backpack straps.

In the post -war period, Harold’s mainly produced bags for other brands. These manufactures of order formed the basis for building up the Harold’s pocket brand in the 1960s and 1970s. In the 1970s, however, industrial customers began to avoid abroad. The process dragged on until the nineties. From around 1995, only finishes and repairs were carried out in Obertshausen. However, the remaining manual service ensured the know-how and the whereabouts of the most important sewing machines and manufacturing tools.

Since 2010, the preparation of bags has been resumed in its own manufacture in Obertshausen. The models result from a cutting field of simple design, material availability, local cost structures, regionality and individual treatment in the production.
