Mexican tin hearts, also called milagritos or ex votos, are a typical handicraft that has its origins in colonial times. It is a laborious work that is done entirely by hand, first cutting the tin plates then embossing and painting.
The heart represents love and gratitude, so this is a gift to your lover or to say thank you to family and friends. As it has a small magnet on the back, it's indicated for metal surfaces, although it can also be placed on a wall using putty or any adhesive material.
