MATERIAL
* Handcrafted from two pairs of vintage jeans
* Feels like rigid denim with a lived-in, soft touch
* Upcycled jeans are each one of a kind and therefore may have slightly different characteristics than what is pictured
* Denim ages better when it’s washed less; damage comes from overwashing, not overwearing. Plus, you can save over 2,000 litres of water per year by washing once a month as opposed to once a week.
* Close zips or buttons and turn your luxury jeans inside out before washing.
* Use a damp cloth to spot clean and remove small stains in between washes, helping to keep your jeans looking fresh.
* Freeze your ethical jeans instead of washing them to kill odour-producing bacteria.
* Steam your jeans as another energy-efficient way to kill odour-producing bacteria instead of washing.
* Wash at 30°C maximum.
* Prefer to hand wash? Use cold to lukewarm water, a mild detergent and leave your jeans to soak for 45 minutes. Then rinse.
* Flatten, reshape and hang your jeans to air dry. We do not advise using a tumble dryer for our denim pieces.
* Dry naturally in the shade or indoors, avoiding direct sunlight, as this can fade denim.
