Over The Rainbow Music Box
There's no prize for guessing what tune this music box plays . . . . the clue is in the title.
The music box operates by the beech wood ball being pulled in a downwards direction. When the pull is released the box then plays Somewhere Over the Rainbow until it runs out of the energy it gained from having the mechanism wound via pulling the beech sphere. The speed at which the tune is played slows a bit as it is running out of power but it is still identifiable. The box is made from differen woods and has a leather strap which would enable it to be hung by a childs cot or for a child to hold it themselves with one hand operate it with the other. One side of the music box is pierced with holes to allow the sound of tune to be heard more clearly, the other side bears the Eguchi logo.

There's a bit of a disclaimer, the box states that the toy is not suitable for children under 3 years becaus it contains small parts but . . . I think a child would have to have strength beyond their years to reveal those small parts.
