Woven in Ireland at the Cushendale Mill - a mill that is one of only three remaining traditional Irish woollen mills using the wool of Irish sheep which means that they can trace the wool from fleece to the final product. The mill is on the banks of the river Barrow in Kilkenny.
This travel blanket or picnic blanket is woven so that the squares contain a diagonal pattern running through them which makes the blanket look both traditional and modern. The wool is a mix of Galway sheep fleece blended with lambswool.
The colours are mainly a silvery grey mixed with a darker grey with cream woven through both of those colours.
