A limited edition archival quality Spotted Begonia giclée print from an original cyanotype sun print.
The artist, Claire Cartwright, was given this Begonia cutting in January 2020 by a friend. She made this print a few months ago. Already, the Begonia is unrecognisable to the plant which is sitting next to her now.
It was created using layers of transparent papers, found objects and Begonia leaves on a bright sunny day in June 2020.
Cyanotype is a 19th century photographic process using a light-sensitive solution to create a blue print.
