Carballo Incela is the artistic project of Luis Portabales, where drawing and sculpture, paper and wood, art and life, play to maintain a romance under the appearance of everyday and functional, but with a great cosmic burden.
The CE slopes are carved by hand from brown blocks, fresno or oak using traditional tools until the classic and desired tools are achieved. It is a manual process where time and dedication are ingredients that add up to the purpose of presenting unique pieces, impregnated with both sculptural will and arty iconicity as well as pop imagery and spirit of teenager adventure. They are pieces designed for adults or adolescents, since they need some strength to sustain and tighten the rubber properly.
Measures approx. 25/26cm. The slopes is presented in a 17x31x8cm pine box accompanied by illustrations.
