Works best on: Clothing Cars & Motorcycles Saddles & Tack Furniture Ingedients: Beeswax Canola Oil Olive Oil Vitamin E Coconut Oil Lemongrass Oil Tea Tree Oil Beeswax Beeswax is an incredibly versatile natural ingredient for many beauty and home products. Beeswax is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, soothing, and moisturizing. When used in lotions and creams, it creates a barrier which helps to seal moisture into skin, leather and wood that aldo seals out environmental toxins and irritants. It helps moisturize and protect cracked hands, feet and can be used as a exceptional lip balm. Unlike petroleum products, beeswax still allows skin to breathe without suffocation. As it protects skin and holds in moisture, and is an effective treatment for stretch marks. It also contains Vitamin A, which improves hydration to the skin, stimulates regrowth and is a natural alternative to Neosporin. Household uses include seasoning cutting boards, a breathable and waterproofing natural leather and wood conditioner, lubing screws, tools, furniture joints, unsticking drawers and rust removal. Beeswax can also be used to spread on thread and make it easier to untangle and strengthen it. Also note that when used in personal care products, hydrocarbons in paraffin wax are absorbed through your skin, and paraffin lacks the health benefits that beeswax offers. Paraffin wax is highly toxic to you liver and kidneys. Beeswax a safe wax and has no health repercussions. Canola oil Canola oil is retrieved from the crushed seeds of the Canola plant. The fatty acid content in canola oil help to soothe and nurture dry skin and effectively moisturize dryness and flakiness away. Canola oil is rich in vitamin E and K, which helps to eradicate skin problems like wrinkles, fine lines, and acne. It is used as a base in many skin creams and lotions as it leaves your skin more supple. Skin infections like cracked skin (heels) eczema, acne and blemishes can be treated with Canola oil. Canola oil is an inexpensive and effective remedy for limp and damaged hair and split ends, especially in conjunction with beeswax, vitamin E and olive oil. And is excellent for controlling dandruff when used with tea tree oil. Canola can be used to season frying pans and cutting boards and can be used with beeswax to help repair scratched wood furniture and rehydrate dry wood. It is also a great softener for leathers and fine saddlery. Olive oil Olive oil is oil pressed from olives. Although many people traditionally think it is just for cooking, it is also used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, skin care and home care.Ancient egyptians used it alongside beeswax as a cleanser, moisturizer, and antibacterial agent. Olive oil is effective to use as a hair conditioner and for relieving skin irritations such as eczema, diaper rash and acne as it is highly antibacterial and moisturizing and also can be used as an effective cuticle repair serum. As olive oil is a natural fat product, it is useful for leather and wood care as it easily penetrates wood and leather to rehydrate wood and make leather more soft and supple. Olive oil is also effective to remove paint and condition and lubricate tools. Vitamin E Vitamin E oil works to block free radicals from the body, which play a large part in the aging process. The hair and skin benefits include hair growth stimulation, fading of scars, deep skin moisturization and reduction of skin wrinkles by the stimulation of collagen production in the body. It helps strengthen nails and can also be used to smooth split ends. In leather care, it easily penetrates in the leather and conditions it. It is also used to bring shine to very dry woods as it penetrates into the wood and rehydrates. It is also safe to use on cutting boards for seasoning. Coconut oil Coconut oil has several benefits, one important ones being its usefulness in hair care and skin care. It has been used for thousands of years for for preventing dryness and is also used in the treatment of eczema and psoriasis. When applied to skin, coconut oil forms a chemical layer that protects skin from fungi, bacteria and viruses. As coconut oil is high in fatty acid and hydrates well, it is exceptionally useful for leather care as it easily penetrates leather providing the skin with the oil it needs for suppleness. Coconut oil is considered a carrier oil which means it is an oil that easy absorbs into skin (both leather and your own!). In the same way it works on skin, coconut oil also penetrates into natural wood to rehydrate and renew it. Coconut oil contains caprylic acid which repels mildew and fungus. Lemongrass oil This pleasingly aromatic smelling oil is a wonderful deodorizer. Lemongrass is soothing for muscles and toning for the skin, and the scent also promotes relaxation. Like other essential oils, lemongrass contains aldehydes which are essential to cleaning surfaces and leather. Tea Tree Oil Tea Tree Oil has been used for cleaning and leather care for centuries. Tea tree oil has antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties. Tea Tree oil is proven to deter mold and mildew, while maintaining suppleness.
