One a pearly white background, a playful bottlenose dolphin smiles out in a blue glaze. The traditional hand-applied sponge technique used to create the dolphin platter adds extra dimensions to the design, creating incidental depth that’s perfect for depicting the ocean animal.
All of the ceramic items in the Creatures collection, including the blue platter, are handmade in Italy by a small, family run business where the knowledge and skill have been passed down for generations. The seaside tableware collection also includes items made from bone china and cork.
