##### Story
Each Beni Mrirt rug is designed to share the deep attachment rugs have in Berber society which centres around family life. Our Moroccan rugs are multi-sensory works of art which look amazing and feel even better as you snuggle your feet into the pile. It gives warmth but also rekindles memories of travel and journeys taken.
Each rug is crafted using ancient techniques, passed down from mother to daughter, a family passion and honored skill. The luxury Mrirt rugs are woven only by the most accomplished artisans of the tribe and are rare taking longer with each piece than other Berber rugs.
Every rug is individual and chosen by us for the way it inspires and makes us strive for greater things. We choose to preserve an ancestral practice dating back to the Paleolithic era. Each artist works and has a connection with the wilderness of the Atlas Mountains. Woven in only local wool, it is kept pure, never processed, natural fire resistant, repels stains and is both warmth & sound insulating.
