Apostle is a small batch soap company that was founded by Harvey Coates in 2018. His first batches of soap were made as Christmas presents for friends and family but he then became so interested in the process of making soap and blending fragrances. Harvey decided that he wanted to make soaps that were not reliant on palm oil, so came up with a mix of olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and castor oil that would still produce a gentle, hard-wearing soap but could be sustainably sourced.

Harvey makes his soap in the old potting shed at his home in Wiltshire that he shares with his husband and son.

If you have somewhere to hang it these soaps-on-ropes are perfect in the shower; they create really great suds and smell beautiful. They are completely natural and vegan; made using only natural oils, natural colours and essential oils.

The soap-on-a-rope is available in 2 further fragrances, neroli and euculyptus and sweet orange; we also stock bars of Apostle soap in 8 fragrances as well as a specially formulated face soap.
