Amber is said to have anti-inflammatory properties, which helps to reduce inflammation during teething. Amber necklaces work best worn against the skin. The warmth of the skin will allow the body to absorb the healing element in amber, succinite, which has been said to act as an anti-inflammatory and an analgesic property and can reduce inflammation, clear red cheeks, ease pain, stimulate the thyroid to reduce drooling.
