When people arrive to the UK as a refugee or asylum seeker, adults are not permitted to work for months, sometimes up to one year. As you can imagine this can be disheartening, demoralising and frustrating.
We have partnered up with the Lewisham Borough Sanctuary Movement to provide a creative outlet for individuals who may otherwise not have the opportunity to take part in our sessions or workshops. This means YOU will be contributing to a very worthy cause and giving opportunities to people to experience connection, wellbeing and friendships, which for anyone settling into a new country, is of immense importance.
