This shampoo is certified organic and is made in Norfolk by Austin Austin. The company is a joint venture between a father and daughter. Richard Austin has long been involved in the organic movement and is the founder of Rainbow Wholefoods and Kingfisher Natural Toothpaste.

All of their products are tested only on humans and are vegan. Their credentials don't stop there, the boxes are made from FSC managed forests and the bottles are made from 100% recycled material and can be further recycled.

The ingredients list on the side of the box tells you exactly why that ingredient is in the product and it's source, eg. Glycerin (Haranja oil, Moisturising), Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder (Aloe vera, soothing).

This shampoo is 72% organic and 98.6% of natural origin.

And . . . . the product is lovely. This shampoo is suitable for all skin types and is made for men and women. It is made with baobob to strengthen and condition the hair and has top notes of bergamot and grapefruit, middle notes of rosemary and euculyptus and basenotes of juniper and geranium.

The packaging is designed with artwork by Christian Newby.
