This Thin Cosmetic Bag design has been inspired by the Breakfast Room in Sir John Soane's Museum which is decorated with delicate Columbine Flowers. The detailed design is embroidered onto linen and then skillfully made into these beautfiul textile pieces by artisans in Hanoi, Vietnam. The jewellery roll is lined with cotton.
Just Trade works with a WFTO registered factory in Vietnam to make these textile products, providing marginalised people with opportunities and support to improve their lives through secure work. Employees have a safe working environment where they are encouraged to learn new skills and progress within the company. The project also works with artisans working in provincial villages, employing over one hundred people in Hanoi and surrounding areas.
